Desertfest London, the renowned celebration of all things desert rock, is set to return for its 12th edition, promising an unforgettable musical experience across multiple venues in Camden from May 17 to 19, 2024.
After a pandemic-induced hiatus in 2020, Desertfest is back with a bang, welcoming desert rock pioneers Masters of Reality for their first UK appearance in nearly a decade. Led by legendary producer Chris Goss, the band’s unique blend of hard-rock blues and progressive elements promises to defy convention while embodying the spirit of the Palm Desert scene.
Fresh from an electrifying performance at the New York edition, industrial trailblazers Godflesh are slated to unleash a masterclass in sonic brutality. The event will also see UK-exclusive performances by Swedish doom masters Monolord, California stoner metal legends Acid King, and the long-awaited return of Italian experimentalists Ufomammut.
Camden Town will witness the arrival of desert rock royalty as the Brant Bjork Trio takes the stage, offering a back catalog few artists can rival. The line-up also features instrumental sound shifters Maserati, hard-hitting duo Mantar, introspective visionaries Cloakroom, and heavy-psych rockers Monkey3, all poised to set the boundaries of genres ablaze.
Blanket, Domkraft, Pijn, Sugar Horse, Stinking Lizaveta, and Darsombra promise to bring a captivating shift in sonic landscapes. Meanwhile, the stoner rock vibes will be kept alive and well with performances by Astroqueen, Wet Cactus, Sergeant Thunderhoof, and Duskwood.
