Highwire Magazine is always interested in hearing from writers, photographers and other contributors with a strong idea and a clear point of view.

What to send

Keep your pitch concise. Tell us what you want to cover, why it matters now and why you are the right person to do it. If you have published work, include a couple of relevant examples.

If you are interested in becoming a regular contributor rather than pitching a one-off piece, we would be glad to hear from you too. Send us a short introduction, tell us what you would like to cover for Highwire, and include two examples of previous work where possible.

We are particularly interested in original reporting, thoughtful criticism, interviews, photography and features across music, culture and sport.
