The Leimbach brothers, Oliver and Louis, expressed their excitement about “Pedestal,” sharing, “As usual, it took us a while to get this one right in the studio, but we’re so stoked with how it turned out.” They also highlighted the epic music video created by animator Joe Neathway Brown, known for his work on Lime Cordiale’s previous videos such as “Apple Crumble,” “Dirt Cheap,” and “Screw Loose.”
This upcoming spring tour marks Lime Cordiale’s third consecutive year, bringing their energetic performances to North America. In 2023, the band sold out a 17-date run, including memorable stops at iconic venues like NYC’s Irving Plaza, The Fonda Theatre in LA, The Opera House in Ontario, Bluebird Theatre in Denver, and Wonderland Ballroom in Portland.
Lime Cordiale’s global demand continues to soar as they solidify their presence in Australia. The band has also made waves with four triple j Hottest 100 charting singles in the past year alone, and they even ventured into the realm of sustainability with their carbon-neutral beer, Largo.
Throughout their career, Lime Cordiale has earned multiple ARIA Award nominations, completed various headline tours in Australia and internationally, and graced major festivals like The Great Escape, Latitude Festival in the UK, and Splendour In The Grass, Lost Paradise, NYE in the Park, and the upcoming Party in The Paddock festival in Australia.
Their January 2022 release, Cordi Elba, in collaboration with actor, musician, DJ, and label boss Idris Elba, featured hit singles “Apple Crumble” and “What’s Not To Like.” Additionally, the legendary Fatboy Slim remixed “Holiday” off the EP.
