Peach PRC turns teenage embarrassment into glossy pop that is knowingly dramatic without losing the sting underneath.
Peach PRC has always been good at turning embarrassment into pop, and “Teenage Losers” runs with that instinct. There’s a knowingly over-the-top quality to it that suits her perfectly, but the joke never completely hides the sting underneath.
It feels made for anyone who remembers being awkward, dramatic and convinced everybody else had life figured out first. Peach turns that feeling into something bright enough to shout along to rather than cringe at later.
